Cami Carr

Biography: Cami Carr – IAM Union Member, Mississippi

Cami Carr is a dedicated union activist and proud member of the IAM Union. Before paying her first dues dollar, she stood on strike lines with her fellow union brothers and sisters; learning the true power of solidarity.

A member of IAM Local Lodge 2249 at Stennis Space Center since 2018, Cami currently serves as an Organizer with IAM District W2021, supporting worker-led organizing efforts. While committed to the IAM, she believes every workplace should be unionized and supports organizing through the union that best serves workers.

Through her work with the South Mississippi Central Labor Council, Cami is growing the labor movement across the South—elevating affiliates, engaging communities, and organizing workers to take collective action. Cami believes real power is found in solidarity.
